The Acute Services Building was commenced in 2001 for Fletcher Construction. The project comprised of nearly 4000 tonnes of structural steel and was unique in the respect that a large proportion of the Fabricated Steel was supplied to site unpainted and subsequently site treated to meet fire rating requirements.

The Project has been the subject of numerous case studies that have commented on the speed at which the structure was detailed, fabricated and erected.
