Steel Erected into place at Eden Park

Steel Girder partially manufactured at our Langley Road Production Facility

In preparation for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

This project involves the Supply and erection of 16 Sets of Box Girders that will form the roof of the Southern Stand at Eden Park. Each of the Girder Sets consists of a Rear Girder, Mid Girder and Front Girder. Supporting the Girders are "Cigar Brace and Pin Arrangements". Between the Erected Box Girders are Roof Infill Panels that are erected as a Subassembly. There is approximately 900 Tonnes of Structural Steel in this Contract. The Roof Component of the Eden Park Re-development project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2009.
